Error codes
| Status | Code | When |
|---|---|---|
| 400 | bad_slug, bad_id, bad_handle, bad_chance | A path or query parameter isn't in the right shape. |
| 404 | not_found | No event, call or person matches. Private profiles and friends-only calls also return this. |
| 429 | rate_limited | More than 120 requests in a minute from one IP. Wait for x-ratelimit-reset (Unix seconds). |
| 500 | server_error, query_failed | Our fault. Try again in a moment. |
| 503 | unavailable | Records can't be read right now. Market endpoints still work. |

Market endpoints return "live": false with a few sample markets so your app doesn't break. Don't show or record anything from a non-live response as real.
Fair use
Poll live endpoints no more than every 15 seconds; that's how often they change. Cache what you can. If you need more than 120 a minute, get in touch.
