5-minute rounds

Every five minutes a new round asks one question: will the price be higher or lower at the end than at the start?

How a round works

• The price to beat is the price at the start of the round. Above it at the end is Up, at or below is Down.
• You see the chance of each, what $10 wins, the live price and a line of the round so far.
• Calls close 30 seconds before the round ends. The page rolls into the next round by itself.

How it settles

Rounds settle on the official price that Polymarket publishes for that round. The live price shown on the page is Coinbase's, for reference, so it can differ slightly. Results usually land within 15 minutes of the round ending.

Take it easy

Fast markets move quickly and it's easy to lose track of time. They're free like everything on Backd, but the first visit shows a note anyway. Step away whenever it stops being fun. Rounds can't be challenged and only one pick per round goes in a combo.
