Rules and moderation
Backd is a record of what people called. The rules keep that record honest and the place decent. Break them and a call gets hidden or an account gets suspended.
The rules
One person, one account. No second accounts, no sharing an account, no using someone else's.
Where you are is where you are. No VPNs or other tricks to back calls from somewhere real-money backing isn't available. See where Backd works.
No gaming the record. No fake referrals, no inviting yourself, no coordinated accounts to farm XP, referral shares or rebates.
Be decent in theses, replies and crew chat. No harassment, threats, slurs, spam or scams. No posting other people's private information.

What we can do
| Action | What it means |

| Hide a call | The call leaves every public list and page, and counts nothing on leaderboards. You still see it on your own picks, and it can be shown again. |
| Suspend an account | You're signed out everywhere, your profile and calls are hidden, and you see a page saying so. A suspension can be lifted. |
| Close an account | The handle, name, bio and photo are removed and sign-in is blocked for good. Calls stay in the record, anonymised. |
| Hide a chat message | The message leaves the live chat for everyone. Repeat offenders are suspended. |
| Correct XP or pin a rank | Only to put right something that went wrong. See XP and ranks. |
Every action is logged with a reason, and we tell you what it was when you ask.
Your money is unaffected
Your money and positions are in your own Polymarket wallet, never with Backd. A hidden call or a suspended account doesn't touch them. You can still trade, claim and withdraw on polymarket.com with the same wallet app, and open positions settle normally.

To report a call, a message or a person, or to appeal, email support@backd.market from the address you signed up with. Bugs can also go in the live chat. Say which call or handle, and what happened. The terms have the full version of these rules.
